The kitchen above was a part of whole house renovation project in Shelby, NC. The renters have damaged this property and the house owner called us to help him repair, renovate and make it inviting and ready for sale. We changed fixtures to a pendant light, replaced drywall on the walls, new sink, new kitchen cabinets and counter top, added GFCI outlet, added a new dishwasher, and removed the water heater from the corner. We also removed laundry from the kitchen (LOL, I guess it was a style back then) and replaced linoleum floor with a waterproof laminate floor. For the fridge we made an ice maker outlet, and there was enough space to make a small laundry room completely separated in this 1200 square foot home.

This project was particularly exciting because the client gave us a blank canvas. The homeowner did help with choosing a color and design.

The work included demolition of old concrete porch that collapsed due to severe water damage, some termite damage of the foundation, two french drain lines, new concrete slab, new concrete walkway, new porch and new upgrades.
